I believe that exercise should be the best part of your day, not another chore on your to-do list. By prioritizing postural alignment and functional strength, we’ll work together to iron out the kinks and get you moving with ease. Whether we’re celebrating a new personal best or fine-tuning your form, the goal is always the same: leaving the gym with a body that feels incredible and a smile on your face.

My Mission
At Cardinal Personal Training, I am dedicated to helping a wide variety of clients reach their unique fitness goals. Whether you're looking to lose weight or you're a seasoned athlete preparing for a marathon.
My true passion lies in helping those who are currently inactive overcome the obstacles holding them back from a more vibrant life. I specialize in identifying and correcting postural imbalances and joint weaknesses drain your body of energy, taking my clients from a state of stiffness and pain to feeling flexible, mobile, and strong.
There is nothing more rewarding than looking back with a client to see how far they’ve come. My ultimate goal is to help you undergo a total identity shift, moving from someone who 'has' to work out to someone who genuinely enjoys exercising.

At Home Personal Training
Experience the advantages of personalized one-on-one training, all from the convenience of your own home. Available to residents within a 15-minute drive of East, MD.
Fitness doesn't always have to happen inside four walls. Join me for a 45-minute guided nature trek designed to engage your mind and body simultaneously.
As we navigate local public trails, we’ll pause every few minutes to perform targeted bodyweight movements—like squats, lunges, and mobility drills—to build functional strength in a natural environment. Along the way, I’ll help you identify local species by sight and sound, teaching you the art of birding while you work on your fitness. It’s the perfect way to build strength, improve your posture, and reconnect with the outdoors.
Testimonials
David R.
"Years of desk work left me with chronic lower back pain and stiff shoulders. I thought it was just part of getting older. Michael identified my postural imbalances immediately and built a program focused on joint weakness and mobility. The transformation has been incredible. I went from struggling to tie my shoes without pain to feeling flexible, strong, and balanced. I feel like I have a brand-new body."
Linda M.
At 55, I had never once stepped foot in a gym. I wanted to lose weight, but I was terrified of looking out of place or hurting myself. Michael completely changed my perspective. He didn't just throw me onto a treadmill; he took the time to understand my body and helped me fix years of poor posture.
I’ve lost 25 pounds, but the biggest change is my mindset. I went from being someone who was scared of the gym to someone who genuinely looks forward to my sessions every week. I finally feel like a 'fitness person,' and that’s a shift I never thought possible!
Megan S.
"As a runner, I was prone to nagging knee injuries that sidelined my training. Michael helped me look beyond just 'running miles' and focused on the functional strength and stability I was missing. Thanks to his holistic approach to my alignment and strength, I completed my first marathon pain-free and set a personal best. He’s the secret weapon every athlete needs."
